Due to the end of the WINTER season,
any items consigned after December 26,
will go on sale right away.

WINTER CONSIGNMENT APPOINTMENTS CAN BE MADE TUESDAY-FRIDAY 1030AM-4:30PM.
 
Please call ahead to make your appointment to consign your Winter items.  Please read the consignment rules below before making your appointment.

For Winter, we are accepting coats, jackets, scarves, boots, velvet, wool, cashmere, leather, suede, furs, winter style handbags, and designer items during October-January.
Items coming in after DECEMBER 26th will go on sale right away.

IF YOU CURRENTLY CONSIGN WITH US AND TYPICALLY PICK UP YOUR UNSOLD ITEMS AFTER YOUR 60 DAY PERIOD ENDS, PLEASE READ OUR NEW POLICY GOING INTO EFFECT FOR OUR SPRING 2011 SEASON.
Policy change starting Spring 2011 Season
PICK UP UNSOLD policy will be changing starting in the Spring 2011 season. Unsold items with a starting price of $25.00 or less will not be available for return. These items will be clearanced and/or donated if they are not sold within 70 days.  Tax receipts are always available.  It takes an overwhelming amount of time and staff to complete these pulls, as our business is growing and we are acquiring more and more consignors, we must make these changes starting Spring 2011. We appreciate your understanding.

WHAT TO BRING!?
Always your most current, fabulous items!

FEBRUARY - MARCH Transistional Spring Items include spring colors, cute/fun prints, sweater sets, light weight jackets, scarves, capris, designer items (including jeans retailing over $200) sandals, evening/prom wear, etc.

MARCH - JUNE Spring/Summer Items include shorts, capris, tank tops, cover-ups, summer shoes & sandals, summer designer items, etc.

AUGUST - OCTOBER Fall items include Fall colors, sweater sets, transitional pieces, evening wear, light weight fabrics, light weight jackets, scarves, boots, etc.

OCTOBER - JANUARY Winter items include wool, cashmere, velvet, evening wear, holiday items, and heavier fabrics. 

We book up VERY quickly,
so please make your  appointment in advance.
We are usually booked out about 2-3 weeks each season.

Unique Consignment Boutique accepts:
  • Women's Clothing, sizes 0-20, VERY CURRENT STYLES purchased within the last year, higher end brand name and/or designer. No low-end brands- Old Navy, Target, Aeropostale, Walmart, etc.
  • We DO NOT accept wedding gowns or other bridal items.
  • Examples of brands we accepted: Free People, Juicy Couture, Seven for All Mankind, Tory Burch, Tahari, Coach, Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Coldwater Creek, Chicos, Talbots, White House Black Market, etc.
  • Shoes that are brand new or are in great condition and very current styles.
  • Unique Accessories and Designer Jewelry (David Yurman, Tiffany, etc.)
  • Designer Handbags
  • Belts
  • Evening Wear- Prom and pageant dresses must be in excellent condition and purchase within a year of consigning. All beading must be in tact, gowns must be clean and on hangers.
  • Mother of the Wedding Dresses- purchased within the last 2 years.
  • Designer items
  • Furs in great condition (seasonally, NOVEMBER-JANUARY)
 CONSIGNING AT UNIQUE BOUTIQUE
  • At your appointment, clothing must be brought in clean, drycleaned/pressed if neccessary, and on hangers. We DO NOT accept clothing that is wrinkled, missing buttons, has broken zippers, smells musty or smoky, or is "too washed." (WE WILL NOT ACCEPT TRASH BAGS) Clothing must be on hangers, so that it goes on the floor as quickly as possible.
  • Styles of clothing and shoes MUST BE CURRENT and purchased within the last year, seasonally correct, and trendy to classic styles.
  • Designer items include Fendi, Prada, Gucci, Chanel, St. John, Escada, and other boutique brands. 
  • The consignment period is for 70 days. All items accepted for consignment are subject to sales and markdowns according to market demand throughout the 70 days.
  • Consignors may choose to pick up unsold items that are priced $25.00 or higher by the pick up date indicated on the drop off form or contract (with a 2 day notice).
  • Unsold items with a starting price of $25.00 or less are not available for return and become store property of Unique Boutique and may be clearanced and/or donated.
  • After 70 days, ALL unsold items are clearanced and/or donated to charity. Tax receipts are always available on request.
  • It is the consignors responsibility to check the status of their accounts and to keep up with consignment end dates. We do not contact the consignors regarding account balances or to remind the consignor of ending consignment periods. 
  • Unique Consignment Boutique decides the prices on any and all merchandise. Although, we are happy to discuss the price of a particular item with you.
  • You, the consignor, receives 40% of the selling price when an item sells within your 70 day consignment period. You may call or email us to check the balance in your account. You can pick up a check at the store or use your credit in the store towards any merchandise. You can also request a check to be mailed, once you have a balance of $20 or more. There is a $2.00 fee to mail your check.  
  • At anytime you can request a detailed print out of the inventory you consign with Unique Boutique. You can pick this up at the store or we can email it to you.

All consignment rules are subject to change without notice.


PICK UP YOUR MONEY ANYTIME OR GO SHOPPING!
As we stated above, you can call us at anytime
to find out what the credit is on your account.
We suggest checking on your account once a month.
If you have a credit, just give us a 1-2 day notice,
and we will have a check ready for you at the desk
or you can use your credit in the store!
There is a $2.00 fee to have your check
mailed directly to you.

SATURDAY DROP OFF EXCEPTION
We prefer no consignment appointments on Saturday, but if it’s your only day,
please call ahead for a special Saturday apppointment
and we will do our best to accommodate you.
